I was born in northern Ontario on the Canadian Shield and spent my childhood in the grape growing region in the South . Moving to BC as a teenager I have called Vancouver home since. I have studied art , acting , dance and music. I was part of the photography duo venturi + karpa for 6yrs. Some of the many international magazines and corporate clients are Forbes , People , Canadian Living , Royal Bank, Morgan Stanley and Sappho Cosmetics. I have been awarded 2 western magazine awards for best portrait and best photo essay. A few of the many group shows my work has been exhibited in include Photohaus galleries Eros and Portrait exhibits.
In a previous career I spent years as a well respected make up artist in the fashion, advertising and film industries.
